The summer BC Tour has kicked off well, and the last few days in Vancouver, Fernie, and Kelowna with Daughter of The Moon have been awesome. I so appreciate opportunities to tour with other artists, and always learn so much from every collaboration. Big thanks to Daughter of The Moon for the great stories, shows, laughs, adventures, and your wisdom. She is carrying on all the way across Canada over the next two months with a new album soon on the way, so be sure to check out her music and go to a show. As for me, I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I’m starting my tour trek north today towards Prince George, Terrace, Kispiox, and Wells, BC. Going to be doing a mixture of festivals, house shows, workshops, venues, and I’m going to be taking the legendary songwriting workshop held by Island Mountain Arts linked with the Artswells Festival. Looking forward to reconnecting with Juno Award winning songwriter, David Francey, and to meeting and learning from Award winning instructors Jenny Whiteley and Joey Wright.
Lastly, I wanted to send out a big thanks to FACTOR Canada for supporting my journey north to further develop my songwriting craft. I am so grateful for this opportunity!

Mission Coffee House – March 28th!
I am very excited to be coming to Mission this Saturday to play in the Clarke Theatre as part of the Mission Coffee House Series!! Last time I was in that room, it was for a music camp I did a few years back with the Sabir Sisters and David Francey. Perhaps I’ll bust out a few songs that I wrote during that week….I came away with some beauties!!
Looking forward to seeing some familiar Mission faces!
Writing With David Francey, Mission Folk Fest, House Concerts, and Canadian Tour
What a wonderful re-integration to Canada this month has been. I just spent a week at the Sabir Sisters Music Camp writing songs with Folk Music all star David Francey, and jamming out with about half of the roster of the Mission Folk Festival. What an unbelievable experience that was – I came out with 6 new songs, which I didn’t think was possible. Worked out too that myself and my songwriting group got to perform a song in the Festival that we wrote together alongside Francey, his main guitar man Mark Westberg, and Mairi Campbell. What a gift that was. Thanks to everyone involved with the camp, and to the festival music lovers who were there for that special moment.

In other news, lots of fun things coming up. My first Canadian tour is starting to shape up, and wanted to put it out there that I am aiming to do this more in house concert fashion, so if there are any lovely individuals that would be interested in hosting one of these special nights, these are the places I am looking to stop between the Sept.23rd – Mid October:
